‘2007 was a defining year for Whole Health,’ said Jim Hummer, founder and CEO of Whole Health Management. ‘We have built a solid foundation for our service model and continually strive to shape our industry, rather than being shaped by it. We look forward to taking our scope of client services and performance to the next level in 2008.’ New Facilities and Services In 2007, WHM opened 11 new clinics and wellness centers across the nation for clients including Scholastic. Additionally, WHM expanded its service offering at one of its existing Florida Power & Light clinic locations and significantly increased its scope of primary care services for employees and dependents at several facilities.
The company also unveiled a full, on-site pharmacy offering to leverage opportunities to improve clinical outcomes while reducing costs for its clients. WHM’s on-site pharmacy services are expected to improve clinical compliance with treatment regimens, increase the utilization of generic prescriptions, and decrease the likelihood of miscommunication between clinicians and pharmacists. The on-site pharmacist will be available for patient education and counseling, in addition to serving as an important health team member. The on-site pharmacies are able to fill prescriptions from on-site Whole Health clinicians and community-based providers, and will provide added convenience for patients by reducing travel time. New Employees and Associates In 2007, WHM welcomed Marty Butler and Madison Mauze, vice presidents of business development, and David Wittkowsky, vice president of human capital, to its senior management team. Dr. Allan Khoury transitioned from clinical operations to Chief Medical Officer, and Dr. Kelly Victory, Whole Health’s former Chief Medical Officer, was appointed President of the company’s Live Whole Health division. Doug Grossman-McKee joined the WHM senior management team as vice president of clinic operations. Additionally, the company hired 261 new Associates to support the company’s clinical services and uphold its commitment to offer high quality, efficient and accessible patient care.
