Port St. Lucie shuffles providers of employees’ health care
Posted by TDCTY Editor on July 10th, 2008In a memo to City Manager Don Cooper Tuesday, Human Resources Director Tammy Williamson said the city has terminated its contract with WeCare and is seeking council approval to hire Tennessee-based CareHere to continue patient care starting July 28. Williamson was on vacation Wednesday and could not be reached. Assistant Human Resources Director Sharon Pack would say only that the changeover is “in the best interest of the city.”
